I grew up on 10 acres in a suburb of San Diego with a view of downtown and the Pacific Ocean. I witnessed the sun sets from the back porch with absolute awe every time. The human body gives me a similar sense.
I started massaging my family and friends in my preteens and was already realizing I wanted to work in the physical therapy field. Out of high school I worked for 3 years as a Recreational Therapist Aide, Physical Therapist Aide and live in caretaker for a quadriplegic and his homebound parents. I got burned out living and working in such intense environments and still trying to get my GE done. I enrolled in massage school at International Professional School of Bodywork in Pacific Beach (the original location). I was a natural and able to start working after 200 hrs of training. I have over 1000 hours of training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, trigger point, Neuromuscular therapies, Reiki, Cranio Sacral, Jin Shin, sports therapies and Traditional Thai massage. I use these healing modalities both separately and combined to bring my clients to their place of balance. I have now been practicing bodywork as my livelihood for 6 years and am living in San Francisco.
My fascination with the human body encourages me to explore my own body through yoga, pilates, running and hiking.
